I still have the black notebook that I started filling when I was 10 years old. Pictures, patterns and decorations cut out from magazines like Restoration Hardware, Luxury Homes, Country Living, and Pottery Barn glued to the pages to depict how I would decorate my future home.
I’ve been giving design advice to friends and family since before I realized that I could turn my passion into a “real” job. I worked for commercial and residential real estate companies staging apartments and designing logos until my Father in Law saw I had talent and he risked his own capital to create an LLC with me that flips houses. The very first flip I did got picked up by the DIY Network on the show “First Time Flippers” and from there my career launched into doing the projects I used to dream about. Now I work for an amazing custom home builder- selecting everything from the color of siding to the plumbing to
the paint. I have a consulting business where I get to do a variety of projects, from refreshing people’s current spaces to full-on renovations.
I value the customer. I try to get a feel for what makes my customers tick, how they need their spaces to function and what looks make them breathe a sigh of contentment when they walk in the door. I take time to get to know each person I work with. I care about them and their families. I love what I do so much that it doesn’t feel like a “job” but rather a calling that I get the privilege to live out.
Have you ever felt overwhelmed by choices? Like you could build 5 different Pinterest homes from all the things you like? My job is to present you with fewer options, but options you will love. Options that will both function for your lifestyle and serve your family the best way possible. Every day I work with customers building new homes...large homes….homes that need siding, shingles, concrete, doors, paint colors, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, tile...the list could go on and on! No matter what part of the country you live in, let me ease your burden and make those selections for you! So many people struggle with where to start. I’ll walk through the process with you step by step and provide options and guidance that will fit your budget and set your home apart.
I starred in my own show on the DIY Network, “First Time Flippers.” It was hard work and an interesting, amazing experience!
I’ve been to Waco, TX five times now. I am a huge fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines and was present at the very first Silobration they ever had. They are so genuine!
My favorite place I’ve ever traveled to is Banff, Canada. We stayed on Lake Louise and soaked in the most breath-taking views I’ve ever seen!
A picture of me in my scarf went viral on Pinterest and I bought out the entire United States of the fabric. I hand-sewed over 1,000 scarves until I ran out of fabric!
I have a lettering business - I do custom calligraphy projects and signs, and have put on lettering parties, teaching other people how to write faux-calligraphy!
I played volleyball in college and was a two time All-American. Post college, I have coached middle school and high school volleyball!
